Brad Formsma – Founder, President
brad@meadow-green.com

At the age of 14, Brad Formsma was introduced to the world of business by his boss, the owner of Rylee’s Ace Hardware. Brad was given hundreds of pairs of old ice skates to refurbish, and he developed a focus on quality and efficiency from the beginning. After all, the compensation for the job was based on these two aspects.

In 1988, Brad began operating a lawn care route and found a demand for additional landscape services. Intrigued by the idea of constructing large projects, Meadow Green Landscapes was started in 1990 with a snow plow truck, a Bobcat and one dump truck.

Driven to develop Meadow Green into the premier landscape firm in West Michigan, Brad used the next ten years to steadily grow the company through large corporate accounts including National Heritage Academies, Starbucks, Gordon Food Service, Fredrick Meijer Gardens and many private residences. The design and installation aspects of the business continue to blossom as Brad has been joined by business partner, Paul Burd, an award-winning landscape artist.

Brad enjoys being part of a company that continues to flourish and create beautiful environments through landscape designs. Brad holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Spring Arbor College.
